This is in honor of a friend who we are/were having a goodbye party for tomorrow. He was a very skilled builder of custom motorcycles and cars and whatever was needed at the time. Also a fabulous custom painter... and a nice man who lived a good life. He died today. He would appreciate the over-the-top construction of this.
I have had a Magswitch for years and used it for many things and have thought about this [and made an acrylic tool with a small magnet to do this, kinda] for a while. The alum plate spans 3 blades on my newly reconstructed bed and the Magswitch locks onto the rail like crazy . My bed is 3x4 foot and I need a way to quickly check and adjust for level. The digital dial gauge zeros out at the current bed position and is easily switched to the four corners. It would be great if it were backlit so my old eyes could read it better but I will look into it. I will post the files if anyone wants them. Gene

Thank you all, my philosophy has always been... anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
