Hi,
Just got our first laser cutter and learning how to use it for our fabric patterns. Our sewing team is cutting everything by hand i'm hoping this will speed things up quite a bit.

Perfect Laser - 64"x102" table with auto feed system.
2 - 100 watt lasers
Running RDworks 8.00.27

If anyone has any input on how to cut objects that are larger than the table with the auto feed capability i'm all ears! That's the one spot i'm having some trouble with currently.

Welcome Alex- I read your other post first and it is an interesting problem that I don't believe has come up yet. You might want to try a later version of RDworks, yours is quite old. I have experience with doing CNC cuts on pieces longer than the table but I am not sure how that would work on a moving bed. I suspect that the moving bed is meant to cut smaller patterns over and over but what you need to do may also be possible. It might be something to post on Lightburn's site as I believe he knows at least as much about these machines as anyone outside of China. Gene

PS- I was just reading on Perfect Laser's site about the belt fed cutters, I would love to see pictures of the machine, their site looks very interesting.

Actually right after I posted here I saw on another thread about the newest version of RDWorks. Downloaded, found a new setting, and it works perfectly!!

I forget the setting name as I just left the shop. I'll post up tomorrow in more detail for others to reference if needed.

I've been extremely happy with my purchase from Perfect Laser so far. They have been great for customer support and the machine is pretty nice from what we've seen so far.

Here is a shot of the machine. This was during setup so it's a mess haha.
