This project has been on the go slow pile for multiple reasons so I found some time to get it to Laser finished stage. Sorry to Steve S and his thread I polluted with some of it.

Minimal Volume using a MITX board and Ryzen APU (no graphics card needed) 16GB 3200 Mhz memory and a 500GB NvMe SSD. Built to take a modified 250W FSP power Supply.

Started out life as a simple sketch in Fusion 360 then evolving to a 22 part glue and screw together 3mm Ply flatpack kit. The material on the tester is some rubbish ply I wanted to finish off and the final unassembled one is an Australian Jarrah Hardwood. The plan is an oil and beeswax finish at this stage so I will add a few more pics of it as it gets glued assembled and finished.

Not sure if I am going to do another version with a view to sell them or not yet but it has been a good CAD challenge along with pushing the limits of what I do or don't know about Ply and Lasers. As this one needs a modded power supply it is beyond the average persons comfort zone even though the mods are all on the low voltage side.

@Gene the rear bench under the pics is a stack of Ply for an actual production run so I just shoved it to the back to keep the ply flat. Happy snap is the Soldering Fume extraction kit the ply is going into. I have had a custom Activated Carbon Fabric Filter made in China for it and it takes a DC fan for the suck.

The main bench is nominally tidier ;)

Busy day but trial fitted the final parts and hammered the outer wrap jigsaw together. I cut these with my usual 0.18mm kerf which is just beyond an easy push fit so a few light taps with a hammer and block of timber is needed.

First bits are now waiting for the glue to dry.
