Hi everyone. I'm a CAD/CAM Applications Engineer from Oxfordshire, UK.
I've been working with wood and plastics at a hobby level for years but mainly using a table router. I don't currently have a laser but I've been lusting after one for years along with a CNC router. My current house only has a uninstalled single garage that isn't big enough for a decent work shop space and I wouldn't want to keep expensive equipment in a damp/cold environment either. I'm house hunting at the moment for a bigger place with a double garage that I can turn into an insulated workshop and fill with toys, can't wait!
I'n the mean time I'm trying to do an much research into lasers and this site seems to be a great resource. I look forward to delving into the depths and hopefully giving back where I can.
