Big boy circa $40-50k Fiber Laser 1.5x3m Bed and 5000kg :o

Well worth a look it covers some of the perils of self importing high dollar value products from China. Plus it is just a bit different to the more usual CO2 lasers we tend toward.

A good look around at some rough edges and wiring issues.

There is a operational video coming so I will add it here when available. Also some other videos on CNC Plasma Cutting on the same channel.

Have you progressed on your laser build Tim? I have actually been thinking about a cnc plasma build- we may be taking over half of my other building next door next year and that will open up a lot of space for oddities.

Only in the planning phase for my bigger Laser. I have a Garage to replace the roof on first which entails new Trusses as a Summer project. This will give me a separate 'messy' shop to put the CNC Router into and space to build the new one in. Then shuffle some of the stuff from one shed into the other to make it fit :?

CNC Plasma makes a lot of sense for the $ in for the capability you get back. Quick look at this guys channel (without watching them) shows he has had a couple of Plasma tables before getting the fiber in this video.
