Welcome Boyd. Glass mason jars was the original reason I bought my laser. I did 168 of them as wedding favors. Five months later when my other daughter got married, I did 168 pub glasses along with 168 coasters shaped as a police badge for their wedding favors. I also made most of the décor for their tables. Since then I have had fun with many other materials and still learning new stuff all the time. Check some of it out https://dadburnitlaser.com Have fun and happy burning.

I use an analog meter but some folks say that a digital works well also. I'm old school and analog don't lie and doesn't have to think before it shows you a number. 0 to 30 is sufficient and is easier to read than say a 0 to 100. The meter will be an in series circuit on the ground side. Cut the wire going to the ground side of the tube (smaller wire toward the end of the tube where the laser beam comes out) and install the meter right between these now two wires.

Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.

I agree that the analog meter is more useful- and that is 30mA by the way- over 100w might want to go to 50mA.
