I am a retired electrical controls engineer. My background is in manufacturing/production support as well as machine development and life sciences research.

I have had a small CNC router (ShopSabre-23) for about four years now and decided to expand my capabilities this year. I purchased a Chinese 500mm x 700mm, 100W, CO2 laser with the Ruida DSP controller. Despite the Chin-lish manual I've been able to get the machine running fairly easily. Forums like this, which offer an avenue of contact with valuable first-hand experienced owners, are essential.

I am available to help out when and where I can.

Thank you for accepting my request.
