Not sure if this is the correct cubbhole to put this in, but here goes.
Is anybody else having problems with their 6445G loosing it's IP settings?
I had .17 firmware, and got an update to .18 with no change. At totally random intervals the controller will stop talking on the network. When I go into the controller the IP address is still there, but unless I rewrite the numbers it's deaf as a post... most of the time. I have had a few occasions where even that did not fix the issue and I had to finish the day via the USB cable. I can be working right along, and after three or five or ten jobs, I go to load the next one and I get communications errors.
I do network service, and even my diagnostic equipment could not see the controller until I rewrote the IP address. I have had it misbehave for a few minutes up to a few hours. All of a sudden it will show back up on the network and everything is happy.
