when go back to home position, impect slide rail

When the laser head finished work, go back to home position, It will impect slide rail.

I checked all limit switchs, all switchs is OK. And I checked the status in controller screen. it‘s right status. X- and Y- position limit detected, the red color in screen.

If I move the X and Y by the button of panel(→←↑↓), the limit switchs worked.

So, It's seemed a software or firmware problem. but I don't know how to solve it.

Is there anyone have some ideas ?

My only thought is that perhaps the limit switch is adjusted just on the edge of what it should be? Homing moves are usually very rapid and manual movements are slower, maybe try readjusting a bit. Gene

For the short term, if you press the ESC key it will stop the homing and prevent the crash.

See attachment - set to current position. This should stop the head from slamming in to the rail AFTER you run a job.
Does the head slam the rail when the machine initializes? (during initial power on)

2、the head does NOT slam the rail when the machine initializes.
3、when the first work finished, slam the rail soft, then go back to cuurent position, the position shifted a bit.
4、then the second work, will be slam the rail more hard, I have to push the urgent button

and I try to upgrade firmware... but It's no lucky....

yes. I use pause button to stop it now.
But I still want to solve it.
I set the speed slowly, but still error . I think it is not a limit switch problem.

another question:

If my laser cutting machine is set to the current position, it will first return to the Machine Coordinate Origin every time, and then move to the current position.

I have never used other laser cutting machines. So, I want to know that everyone's machine is like this?

Mine does not.

My machine initializes on power on - moves to the limit switches and then moves to "current position" - current position = "origin"
After each cut my laser head goes to origin/current position

Are you setting "Origin" on the laser key pad?

I think your stepper is losing count of the steps required to get back to "Home". This can be caused by too high speed or perhaps too high acceleration.

Try reducing speed (both the speed you use for your actual job, and the homing speed) and see if that helps. If not, reduce the acceleration and re-test.
