finally got my new machine, only a month late...lol..but on start up, the head lightly hits the side, and passes the bed edge, top right, but on the left it falls short of edge of honeycomb bed, slightly to the inside of it, so basicly it is off the width of the honeycomb bed frame..is there a way to adjust and offset the x axis 20-30 mm to the left to get it to travel from the honeycomb bed frames center to center on both ends?? hope this explains properly..

there are 2 limits for the travel.

the first is the "0", when you hit the sensor (the "homing" at startup). it is probably on the right of your gantry.

the 2nd is the table dimension. this is software only : your controller will refuse to go beyond, but this may be mechanically possible. this is a setting you can modify on your controller (in rdworks, "read" the settings, modify, "write" to apply).

it seems your sensor is offset. but the dimension on the table in the controller is ok, so your working zone is offset.

2 solutions :
- either you move your sensor and/or the metal plate on the head that the sensor detects to "home" at the right position. this will offset the 0 position.
- you adjust the X size of the table in rdworks to allow the head to move 2 or 3 cm more to the far left.

ok thanks..its not a major big deal really,,it doesnt bang,,just goes past the beds frame on right and short of it on left..to set bed size to 930 type thing would give me the left side extra then, you say..ok...its not like I need the extra 3cm of bed area,,.and to start moving blocks, head or sensors etc, not a serious enough issue for that...lol...Thanks For Reply..thought maybe an offset in controller type thing might have evened it out..

You can select an offset in the vendor settings for the X axis so that your zero will be on your cutting bed.
