Hi all
Is there anyone who can help me please, I have had to do a complete rebuild of my laser engraver, ( it a red sail 70x50 ). I purchased a new controller ( rudia 6445s ) board, steppermotor controllers and psu. The problem is that the new system has different coloured wires to the old one, I downloaded wireing dia from the internet but they are all b/w , does anyone know how to wire it back together please, or at least where I would get a dia to rewire it in colour . ( I hope this makes sense ) Many thanks Paul.

Unfortunately there is no standard color coding. What controller are you replacing? I have done quite a bit of controller swapping and should be able to help you. The same circuits are on all lasers [basically] but are named differently. If you have a picture of the old controller, that would be a good place to start. Most common after Ruida is Leetro, altho there are half a doz others too. Below the box you are typing in are two tabs- Options and Attachments- if you click Attachments it will ask you to add whatever file you would like. Here is a Youtube vid that may help:

Your controller is a Ruida 644[x] I believe- very similar to your 6445, I have factory schematics at my shop as well as hand drawn of my own highly modified 1300x900 machine. If no one helps before tomorrow I will post them. Gene

I did that swap a long time ago. The Top Wisdom to Ruida is almost a straight connection swap. There is one or two that need a wire shift by one pin. I want to say the ground is in a different spot between them, Matt did a great video on it.
