I did it before the start of video.

I tried to run the machine using lightburn. It did not make any difference.

I am out of software ideas - I hate to say this but sounds like you controller it not controlling properly.

WIth speed at 1mm/s your output power will be limited to the MIN power setting. This is controlled by the Start Speed in Laser Cutting (User) parameters. The default value for this is 10mm/s and since you're asking this question I presume that you don't know about it. At 10mm/s and slower, only the minimum power for the layer is used, faster than 10mm/s the power ramps up until it reaches Max at the speed for the layer. This varies the speed as the laser moves around complicated cuts, and when it starts and stops. Since you've set a speed slower than 10mm/s, the ramp up to max never happens.

Is your laser tube OK at 28-30mA?

That is good info Chris- never seen that before. I believe the OP has a 150w tube so the mA should be fine- I run my 130w tubes at 28w and have the original EFR tube in my 6+ year old laser. I wonder if Lightburn is the same?

I've been banging on about this for years. Russ came across Min/Max power variation about video 55, I think, though he made a complete mess of understanding it IIRC, and I haven't seen him talk about the Start Speed setting, without which you've only got part of the story.

It's a controller thing, not RDWorks or Lightburn. The Start Speed is set in the controller (either through RDWorks or Lightburn, or on the control panel of the 6445), which dynamically adjusts power as it changes speed.

Thank you all for support. We are about to change the PU and then test the machine. Because of weird sound is coming out of the PU when the ammeter hits the 5 mA.
