If your home is NOT right rear, be careful, the head will crash if you don't hit the Escape button in time.

Hi-
Apologies for bringing up an old thread, but it looks like it may help me.
I am having the same issues that another person was having that lead me to this. (viewtopic.php?hilit=grinding%20noise&p= ... d2473ebcb5)
I see the files, and I think I have an idea of what they're for, but no idea what to do with them.
Any chance anyone could help me with this???
Thanks a million!
Guy

Hi Guy,
Turn on your laser system and make sure it's connected to your PC.
Open up RDWorks
Make sure your laser is chosen in the Device at the bottom Right hand corner.
File / Vendor Settings / (Password= RD8888)
Click Read
This will populate your parameters.
I would save what you have on your machine EG "myMachineDDMMYYYY.RDVSet"
If you have a compatible .RDWSet file, click open and navigate to where the file is stored. Select file and click open.
Then "Write" the new file settings to your laser system. Please note: this can mess your laser system up if the file is not suitable. But if you saved your original file, you have a fall back position.
Go to User in the Right hand window (it's a tab in the group that contains Work | Output | Doc | User | Test | Transform
Click read and save the file.
Then If you have a compatible .RDUSet file, click open and navigate to where the file is stored. Select file and click open.
Then "Write" the new file settings to your laser system. Please note: this can mess your laser system up if the file is not suitable. But if you saved your original file, you have a fall back position.
Hopefully this will make sense.
I have access to a number of files for the Back RHC homing 3040, 4060, 6090, 1290, 1490, 1610 and for a Back LHC homing 5030 system.
You do this at your own risk, but ensuring you have back up files will mitigate the risk.
