I have a CNCRP 48X96 machine with its electronics kit and I am starting to build a new upgraded control box. So far I have gathered a new 24"X24" enclosure, UC300ETH, and MBB2. For this upgrade I will probably upgrade to NEMA 34 motors (https://www.oyostepper.es/category-9-b0 ... MA-34.html) instead of 23 motors. The long shaft is driven and I add a rotary axis.

Any recommendations for a solid stepper motor driver or does it have to have a power supply? I would prefer to have a separate driver for easy replacement. Thanks.

Hi Rachel,

Stepper motors are not my area of expertise, I'm afraid.

There is a post on the forum where someone is using Leadshine DM542 stepper motor drivers with their Ruida controllers.

I know Russ Sadler did a video series on upgrading a K40 that may be of interest to you - https://laseruser.com/k40-xtreeem-laser ... rade-menu/
