

Back in the mid-70's to mid-80's I used to haunt an electronics surplus shop in the SF bay area (Quinns) and they had oodles of core memory piled outside in a side yard. It was beautiful stuff. Wasn't worth it's weight in bovine based fertilizer in 1978. It would be worth a fortune now as collectors items. Or as wall decor.
It was beautiful stuff and Quinns had tons of large panels of it they couldn't give away.
Sigh... If only I had bought all the stuff I could have had for pennies in my youth that would be worth a fortune now.
