I don't believe the Cloudray MYJG-80w power supply came with any documentation. The most information I have found on wiring and troubleshooting is in the small wiring image on this link:
http://www.rubylasercutting.com/supply/94.html
G is ground and P is "water protection". The original 50w power supply had a jumper between these two connections and I left it in place when I changed to the Cloudray 80w supply.
I have had some dialog with Cloudray and the US distributor that I purchased the power supply from. At the request of the engineer from Cloudray, I switch the output of the Ruida from PWM to analog. That got the laser to fire again but when it did it ran about 10% higher mA in the same program than it did with the PWM connection. I wasn't excited about going to an analog connection but as it happened the analog connection did not make the laser work very long either. As of yesterday the laser doesn't seem to fire under any circumstance and the distributor has issued me a shipping label to return the power supply for a warranty replacement.
I am still mystified how the problems that appear to be in the power supply were corrupting the Ruida controller. Disconnecting the laser power supply or simply leaving it switched off allows the Ruida to work without any problems at all. Perhaps the PWM connection is getting some noise or stray voltage from the (defective?) Cloudray PS that is messing with the Ruida? I will know more later this week or early next when I hopefully have a replacement power supply to try.
