Watched another couple of vids last night, looking promising. I've just finished a couple of wee jobs on my machine, just my washing machine to fix then I can play again ...

Yes, there is a good library function and you can place it in one of your cloud accounts so that it is accessible to any computer (obviously, make sure to hit the save function before changing to another computer). I don't know if you can import your parameters library into the LB library though. My guess is no but I wanted to start over with a clean sheet anyway.
Thanks for the info, Probably not a bad idea to start from scratch, I can always refer back to RDW.

That's a very good point Doug. I am hoping to be able to use my design PC to do much of the donkey work of preparing the job for cutting/engraving, from the comfort of my office, leaving my laptop (tethered to the laser cutter by USB) to just do the machine 'driving' part. Do RDW and LB both allow that kind of workflow?

I do my work on a remote pc, transfer the file via the network to the laser. Then I can load and run on the machine at my leisure

I know LB allows the library files to be in the cloud but don't know about RDW. Both software packages allow you to access cutting/working files stored in the cloud. I have set up my cloud drives to save the data in both the cloud and on each PC's hard drive just for a bit of redundancy because I don't trust the cloud to always work and sometimes I want to grab my laptop to work places where there isn't an internet connection.
