Skewed engrave

Hi folks,

I am having a similar issue where you can cut perfect circles but it engraves ovals.
Tried all the obvious things like backlash and even tried speed changes. Weirdly the oval is across both axis as if the X axis is moving steps in a perfect diagonal. Its not a speed issue I don't think as I have run a cut circle at 400 mm/s no problem, obviously it didn't cut through but marked the material in a circle without skipping steps and cuts perfectly at slower speeds. It turns writing into italics as well
