I have had a similar problem. It turned out that the one of the screws holding the head in place had come loose.

thanks I will search on acceleration, it's not something I have touched on the settings, but I'm convinced there shouldn't be any perceptible play in the head, I have a new linear bearing on order, I decided against getting a new rail in stock 'just in case' as you say it's $$$Doug Fisher wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 Just to make sure before you pay $$ for new rails, since this issue occurs at a direction change, are your belt tensions are correct?
