After 2 weeks of fighting controller and software to control my twin headed laser I gave up and hard wired them. I had to redo my panel to add buttons. Now time to dial in lasers and figure out Z axis control.

Hi Greg- sometimes the easy way is the best way [often?]. Is my memory correct that you have no prior experience with lasers? Laying out a control panel is a difficult thing, and in my experience requires a lot of changes as you progress. My current edition is not even screwed down as it gets tweaked often.
I have been experimenting/mocking up/building a version of your air flow system since I saw yours and realized what a great idea it really is. Again, thank you for sharing your build with us. Gene

Wiring rotary for laser. Changing control panel once again.

Leaving space for more buttons/controls is always wise in my experience. I am 7 years into this adventure and learning something every day.

Mounted plug in for rotary on bed. Now I need to understand how software works.

I'm trying to set up rotary on Ruida controller 6445G when I go to test it moves x axis not y axis and any changes aren't working. I have rotary on switch for y axis or rotary. I can move rotary manually. Lightburn 1.2.01 main board firmware version RDLC-V15.01.22. Enabled in rotary menu as setup shows not sure what to do at this point.
