				Hi all
I have a Ruida LFS-PM &43 Autofocus System paired with a Ruida RDC 6332M-B DSP controller.
According to the instruction the Autofocus systems works with bot metallic and non metallic material.
I got it working fine for metallic but fail to do so with non metallic material (HDPE)
The company that sold me the unit said to set the distance to 100 mm and it would work. No such luck.
The Ruida website shows a LFS-ANM T43 Live Autofocus System with a laser measurement system for non metallic surfaces. Anyone know if i can still use the Live Focus controller of my LFS-PM T43 with this new sensor? I have no luck with Ruida answering any of my emails.
Your input would be much appreciated.

Markus, it would be a kindness if you posted more about this Autofocus system and what you find out more about it. Thanks Gene

				Hi Markus
Any chance you could post some pictures of the auto focus sensor and set up? Make and model of the sensor would be good too. In one of my previous jobs I worked on automated production and packaging machinery. The sensor you might have could be an inductive type which will not work on plastic.

				Hello Markus,
I have just purchased a CO2 laser with the non-metal distance controller - The head is the LFS-ANM-T43-V2
I could do with some help in setting up the system. I have read the manual and still have plenty of questions.
If anyone else around here has knowledge of the 'live follow focus' head I would be very pleased to get some help.
My first issue being with the metal nozzle fitted I get two spots when I test fire the laser (As if the laser beam is bouncing on the inside of the nozzle) With the nozzle unscrewed and removed the beam is fine. I have tried to adjust mirror three but can't get rid of this double mark.
Looking forward to getting some feedback.
Tried to attach a couple of images but not sure how to post those - Do I need to host the images somewhere else and link here?

These strange two marks are a result of pulsing the laser just once. It must be reflecting inside the nozzle? I can't seem to adjust mirror 3 to correct this (Then again I don't really understand what adjustment is needed for mirror 3)
