Purchased the machine for hobby projects and assisting a very crafty lady. Used a Laser Engraver as part of a "Makers Group" and believe in time we both will justify its purchase, if not it seems the type of thing the grand kids can master. Right now I'm well behind the learning curve required to even be classified a beginner. Despite being efficient with CorelDraw (actually PhotoPaint) I do not have a firm grasp on the nomenclature used in graphics nor command of the workspace in CAD type programs however, I'm a pretty quick learner and persistent. I'm keen on following instructions and can adapt from basic principals if logic is taught within them principals. I believe strongly in learning, then sharing the knowledge gained in order to assist others in the enjoyment of my pastime, safely.
Part of the challenge, and reason for joining the group is expanding on a lack of instructions supplied in a "poorly" written manual on most everything associated with the machine. RDWorks included. Have yet to find how to send a file from a computer, disk or network to the machine's interface, despite connections for all 3.
