"Load Data Failure" message

When I attempted to send a file from CorelDraw X7 to RDworks V8.01.18 using the "plug-in" a window popped up with the message "Load Data Failure".
I suspected a problem with RDWorks and re-installed RDWorks V8.01.18 and the plug-in.

After re-installing RDWorks and the plug-in I again attempted to send a file from CorelDraw X7 to RDworks V8.01.18 using the "plug-in" and again the window popped up with the message "Load Data Failure". After this occurred I unplugged the USB cable to the laser and attempted to send the file again and did not receive any message this time.

Now, when I attempt to send a file from Corel to RDWorks I get no message. The object in the file is selected in the Corel workspace , but nothing else happens. I suspect the problem is the "plugin" between CorelDraw and RDWorks, but not sure where to look.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Thank You,
Roger

New error to me - I presume you followed the video and uninstalled as outlined and then reinstalled as well ...you were sure to uncheck the VBA during the install..... Not sure what to recommend now

I received the "Load Data Failure" which is why I did the re-install of RDWorks. After I re-installed RDWorks, I still get the "Load Data Failure" which I am assuming is in reference to the inability to load the data from Corel into RDWorks via the plug-in.

I followed the video precisely, the results before I did the re-install and after are the same.

All I can think of reperform the steps using a different copy of RDWorks ....do you have “good” copy of Corel.
One or both mut be corrupt is all I have to offer.

I'm having this issue right now. When I select the macro in corel to send the project to rdworks, I get a Load Data Error. But it's not a software issue. I can open a new corel window, make a new project, and it will load to rdworks just fine. It has to be something I did while editing the project. I wish I could figure it out so that I don't do it again. I spent a lot of time on this one so now I have to redo it but I don't know what I did wrong.

What happens when you save it as a .dxf to your harddrive using Corel and then open RDWorks and then import the .dxf?

My version of corel does not give a DXF option to save as.

This video explains how to fix the linkage between corel and RDWORKS.
I recommend watching the video and THEN run the video as you perform the step - stopping the video as you execute the process when necessary.
This process will delete RDWORKS and reinstall. I have done this several time because I have tried to load a file created to a RD version higher than mine and that creates a problem. I run version 18 - at it works well for me - there are of course newer version but I don't need any of the new features and 18 has been very stable (except when running the wrong file ver).

If you execute the process in the video please report back with your results.

I followed the instructions and it does the same thing. But it's only that file. I redid my project and I have a completely different problem now. It looks good in corel. After using the macro to send it to RDworks, it opens with connecting lines all over it. Pictures attached.
