I have been trying to get a good mark onto 10ml amber glass bottles. I watched all of Russ's videos on engraving glass, but unfortunately he was always using clear glass.
I have tried the soapy high-frequency impact engraving that Russ likes, and I can get a clean mark, but if oil gets on the marking, the glass goes back to amber color.
All the mark enhancing solutions I have found make the mark darker (to stand out from the clear surroundings).

Does anyone know of a solution to make the mark more white?

Maybe try wiping with white or light paint and then wiping the non engraved glass clean?
