Hi all
after exhaustive research for a cheap alternative... we have given up looking for an affordable/sustainable exhaust filter system.
I noted that even with the high end filter system, I have seen that the smell of wood or acrylic remains in the room - witnessed at a laser service location.
we are venting outdoors and have been... but noted the housing of the red machine is pretty leaky and the muffin fan it had built in is not the fastest at removing the fumes.
cutting acrylic stinks in the house even if we leave the item in the box a few minutes
we have bought a 440 CFM blower use for grow tents
6 inch duct fan matching the machine
add a speed control, but works best at full tilt anyway.
only problem - resolved already is that the blower housing leaks air... with a little tape the joints are sealed and now the air quality is much better.
I can cut 1/4 MDF - my smoke/fume test and the smoke departs almost immediately.
its a monster and but much louder
will post pics once I finish the final fitting and permanent attachment.
