Hi, thanks for the add. I have a new Lightblade 6090, 900 x 600, based in Chester, UK. Am cutting product boxes for my accessories business and creating artwork towards an exhibition. I have already driven down my product box costs by bringing this in house and love the quality. Newbie to laser cutting, looking forward to learning more on this site.

Welcome Tracey- Russ has some fine videos for the Lightblade machine and seems to think highly of them. If you have not- make copies of your machine parameters [
viewtopic.php?f=104&t=3459 ] - that may save you some problems in the future. Please make yourself at home and do as much reading as you can stand or are interested in. Gene

Hi Tracey,
If you're cutting corrugated cardboard for your boxes, I suggest you have a look at Russ' YouTube video on using "dot mode" for cutting. It seems to be much safer (less risk of fire) because it uses a lower power.
