Hey guys I was having a problem with my KH-7050 not powering up. I have narrowed it down to the power switch on the side of the machine. Now im struggling to find a switch that is NO NO. Seems most are NO NC. Could you fine folks point me in the direction of a suitable switch?

CloudRay, LightObject, Amazon are the places I would start looking.

a NO - NO switch would do nothing, it needs to have one position NC to make the circuit?

Add a photo of the current switch and as suggested NO NO would be a NONO ;) Generally you have DPST or more often a DPST in either a pushbutton or lever type and they will also be latching types so the contacts stay in the selected position when used as a power switch.

Below is just for some better ideas of typical variations of contacts and how they are named.

My 110VAC China Red machine uses a twisting double pole switch. Contact bars on both side like a relay would. In reality you just need a good switch, single or double pole depending on 110 vs 220, with the proper amp capacity. I'm not near the machine, but memory says my 80W pulls about 12 amp with everything going, and most of that is the exhaust blower! The hardest part will be finding something that will fit the hole properly. If they run true to pattern, it will have a double pole even for the 110 version just for consistency on the production line.
