Hello from Lincoln, NE

Greetings from Lincoln, Nebraska!
My name is Myron, and I'm a laser-addict. I currently have a K40-style desktop laser on the shelf as a backup. My primary laser is a "China-Blue" variant. My model is 500mm x 300mm similar to the one Russ uses. I tried to get mine as close to the K40 as possible for a specific reason - Cohesion3d. I saved about $300 not getting the Rudia controller, and was successful in getting a unit with the M2-Nano board. This allowed for a drop-in replacement of the m2 nano with a Cohesion3d mini. I use Lightburn for software, and added the lightburn camera too.
My variant didn't come with a water temperature sensor, or a laser-enable switch - so I added both.
My optical alignment is almost done. I ordered a "pro head" from light objects, as I have to change the vertical position of the head to finish the alignment process.
