Water Flow Gauge

A few years ago the pump in a chiller failed and ever since I haven't trusted the alarms in the chiller (also a CW5000 like this one).

I put a computer water-cooling flow meter in the laser-out and cooler-in line. Now I can verify at a glance that coolant is flowing.

If you don't want to have to remember to constantly check visually, you can buy a sensor that interfaces directly with your Ruida controller. The controller will constantly monitor flow and pause the machine if water flow ceases. Less than $10. Alibabba has them for less. If you want to pay a little more to get it faster and live in the US, they sell them here:

I installed one of these in my old laser and ordered one for my new one...put on outflow from tube,,gives flow in liters per minute and water temp..coming out of the tube.....ebay, amazon has them...
