				Can molybdenum mirrors be repolished?

				Can these mirrors be repolished or should they be replaced.  The surface is not damaged, but hazy.

				You can polish them but are you sure they need to be polished vice cleaned  - acetone, lacquer thinner or white vinegar will remove most burned on residues (remember the fumes/smoke in the machine can be burned onto the mirrors by the laser reflecting down the path to the head- one reason for good fume extraction)
there is a product called "Never Dull"  or you can use brasso and a cotton ball. Either will do a good job polishing

				I tried cleaning them with 90% isopropyl and plexiglass polish with little effect.  I will try the acetone or vinegar.  This is the first mirror after the tube.

				Look through Russ' videos, I believe he polished a set with rubbing compound, but I can't remember what video it was or what type they were.
