Lens Tube Identification 60w Chinese Laser

I found that I believe to have a non standard laser head on my 60w 500x700mm unit. It has a 16.28mm(od) and a 11mm(id) with a 18mm lens that threads into the nozzle. I see most nozzles are 20mm(od). Should I purchase the 20mm replacement head and mirror assembly?

I doubt you will see any improvement on your machine, unless you are having particular problems with it.

Thanks Gene,
Looking to add some longer focal length lenses for cutting foam and thicker plywood. I noticed my lens tube wasn't like most of the tubes on the web and was trying to find lenses that would work with my tube/nozzle.

You are not alone... but there is a solution!
I have the same problem, the OD of my lower tube is 16.75mm with the bottom 'top hat' holding a 18mm lens. I have yet to find any parts... BUT Good old Russ has a solution of course. He MAKES the adapter parts!
My machine shipped with a 2" lens, what I didn't know until trading pics with Russ was that it was also set up for engraving, not cutting. My FL gauge was over 19mm, tip to work surface.
He had a friend with the same problem, and made an adapter tube to hold other lens', in the correct position, for your head. I have a set coming that will let me use 1'5", 2", or 2.5" as needed. All staying with my original 18mm lens size just in case. He does not have this as part of his video series that I've seen, but he did send me a video with all the what and why.
Drop him and email the same way you do for the Dohicky, and he'll get back to you.
