Hello All,

I have had my 80w CO2 machine for about a year now. I can't thank Russ enough for his amazing efforts in testing, experimenting and teaching us the ins and outs of laser cutting and engraving. Your efforts are unmatched sir. Thank you! I am not sure I would have got through the first month of laser ownership without your videos.

I mainly tinker with my machine, making gifts and experimenting, but do also produce some commercial acrylic products I enjoy the challenges as well as learning the design, software and mechanics of lasering. I recently bought a 3D printer but have to admit the laser is a more enjoyable "toy". If I had to choose between owning my CNC router, laser cutter or 3D printer the laser would be my first pick - by far. 3D printing is just too darn slow and is limited to plastic. Where as lasers can work with many other materials and can produce everything from gadgets and mechanical objects to 3D engravings, photo engravings etc.

Looking forward to learning from all of you and hopefully giving a little back where I can.

Cheers,
Jason
