Hi everyone
i am a wounded British Royal Navy 20 year Veteran living in England. looking for a new hobby to pass the time and keep my mind active along with a little pocket money if i can get good enough to sell my work.

I am a newbie to all of this and still learning my way (with some mistakes, but that is how you learn).

I have got a Chinese CO2 50W 700 x 500 bed with a RUIDA 644XG (i think) board, running RDWorks V8.40 on a win 7 and a Rotary attachment that i have not been able to setup in the software to draw any patterns on yet.

thank you for admitting me to the forum

Neil

Neil

Rotary engraving is surprisingly easy (well, after you've watched Russ's videos). Have you looked at RDWorks Learning lab 11 on youtube yet? I think there are a couple more episodes about rotary work as well.

I struggled for ages trying to set my own attachment up without help but once I admitted defeat and found here I'm well pleased with the results I get.
