Hello Everyone,
I am an engineer from the UK who likes to spend any spare time in my workshop.
I have a CNC router that i built three years ago and have tried (with limited success) using a 5 Watt UV laser on it for engraving.
Buying a purpose made machine has been something i have wanted for a while. After watching Russ on you-tube I bit the bullet and bought a Chinese 50 Watt????? machine with rotary axis off of ebay. Which when arrived looked pretty much the same as the one Russ had, however it was fitted with a TopWisdom controller not Ruida so i invested in a Ruida Rdc6445 which i now have fitted and running.
I am looking forward to learning all about the machine with help from the forum and making many useful and fun creations.
