New member - x700 clone

Hi,
Long time CNC hobbyist here that built a CNC router in 2003 with a Xylotex controller and Mach3. I've been borrowing lasers at the local university and makerspace for a couple of years. In August I came across a deal on a 3 year old x700 clone on Craigslist and decided to take the plunge. In less than an hour I burned out either the tube or the power supply (both original). So now I have converted it to a a 75w Reci T1 tube and an 80w Cloudray power supply. It ran great for a couple weeks but I'm now fighting some new issues. I'm here looking for some direction on troubleshooting. Thanks!
