New 150w Machine User

We just took delivery of a 150w machine at work and I am attempting to learn more about RDWorks and our new machine.

A couple years ago I built an MPCNC (https://www.v1engineering.com/specifications/) and had a small 2.5w diode laser and a cutting spindle on it.

I have learned a lot about G-code and CNC's with my 3-D printer (Prusa i-3) and the MPCNC.

I use Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Autocad and will get up to speed with RDWorks real soon.

Looking forward to using this forum.

Welcome Tony- you will find a great community here I think. Lots of CNC, 3D printers and Fusion 360 enthusiasts too [ including me]. I have used a similar machine for 3+ years and have compiled a lot of mistakes [read that as knowledge ] with it. I would suggest looking at Lightburn software if you are just learning RDworks, it is better and it is hard to switch downstream I have found. Gene
