Hello! Laser NOOB here
Posted: Fri Oct 25, 2019
Hello all,
My name is Chad Graham and I am fascinated with all CNC type machines. I have built my own 3d printers, mini blue ray laser engravers, CNC drawing robots and engravers. I am an all around Geek, that likes to tinker and create things myself.
...but enough about me, why am I here? I decided to buy an amazon Chinese black and yellow 60w laser. I am so far very happy with it and have managed to burn holes and letters in and on just about everything in my office. However I am basically a blind man feeling my way in the dark when it comes to this thing and I am far from using it correctly or to its full potential. I keep tweaking settings and testing, which leads to more "googling" and reading, which brought me here!!
I am glad to be here, looks like a solid bunch of knowledgeable people so far. I appreciate the time and effort you have contributed to make this forum content valuable to a dumb little geek such as myself.
Thank You,
Chad Graham
