Laser newborn

Hello everyone, I am a newborn when it comes to laser engraving. I did plastic engraving for The pantagraph for many years. I am familiar with Photoshop so working with drawing tools and layers is not new. I'm really looking forward to being able to use my lightly used blue/white updated K40 laser.
I'm sure I will be making a few posts here. Asking a lot of questions. And definitely the following Russ's adventures. I have been watching his YouTube video series and I'm up to number 71. This man is a genius. I absolutely loved his laid-back style.
