Trying to get a clean consistent engraving but it seems to have patches where the acrylic burns different. Any tips on this?
150w tube 4oomm/s .05 interval at 25% power.
Thanks

Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.

Not familiar with 4" lens but on my 2" I would increase the focus so it melts/flows more.

I see bands where the engraving is not uniform.

With the power to the laser off....move the gantry in x full travel looking for binding and do the same for y (separately)
Cleaning and lubrication may be the solution

Either power is fluctuating or the movement of the gantry is not a constant speed through the full range of travel.
