I'm looking for a business card stand/holder for a craft fair table.

Anyone got a nice design they would like to share

Just found a free one that looks like a laser machine, will give it a try tomorrow and see if it's ok

Here is a stand I scale for various uses and sizes - you can make it smaller but it would probably hold business cards in it's current size

I made this one a while ago partly for the living hinge playing and tolerance testing. I made a few for mates who run market stalls so simple and fairly tough. You might like to consider repeating the oval cutout on the outer wrap to make getting cards out easier when I made them I wanted weather and dirt protection and the inner cut out works fine.

Zip file below has the SVG for it inside. *** Important the SVG already has an allowance for 0.18mm Kerf

Thanks for the designs gents, i'll be making them for sure.

For this weekend I have made a sample of the laser machine version, pretty much for the novelty factor.

The files worked ok when scaled to suit material thickness.

On mine the lid doesn't close, looks like the hinge point is out of position, likely a fault of mine while I nested the pieces, haven't checked yet.

The small pieces that form the lid hinge are weak at the curved end and with the ply I used they didn't retain the curved shape at the front.

I added a small spring loaded platform to fit inside the bed area,

A nice product all the same, i'll make one from white laminated mdf, should look well.

Looks like there a wee flaw in the file.

This pic shows the two side pieces, with the hinge point hole, note one doesn't have a clearance radius ....

How did I not notice this !!!! Before I glued it all together.
