Hello Everyone. My nameis Ray Carpenter and Ilive in Omaha, Nebraska.
I am aretired industrial engineer andhaveworked inaerospace and semi conductor for 42 years.

When I retired I started makingfurniture for my family and myself as a hobby. Our home had a plaques lit with a set of incandescent lights. They were work outand did not work, so I made a laser etched ,edge lit LED address light housed inside a wooden box. Theneighbors liked it andI have madeandsold over 100 in the local area. I was getting my acrylic etched at a local trophy shop, butwas lucky enough to fine a really great laserfor sale locally. It is a synrad metal tube 15 watt GCC Laserpro Mercury 1 laser engraver. I have used it a lot. I have been follow Russ for quite a while and now am wanting more info on photo engraving on clear acrylic. Russ mentioned that he would send his paper on photoengraving Video 115, to anyone who asks. Hope he can still do that.

Thaks,

Ray
