RDC6442g USB fried

So I have a 6442g that took a power hit from the switch shorting out which caused the USB, ethernet, and disk ports to stop working. Got a 6442s to replace it but dont have the settings from the previous board. Out of curiosity I opened up the bad one after removing it and see it's actually 2 boards stacked. What's the chances I can take the board with the interfaces from the new one and plug it into the old one to pull the settings? Is the actual memory on the larger board and the small top board is just to add connections to it?

Sorry..I don’t have that level of knowledge.
Best bet is to find someone with a similar machine and get. A copy from them

I was able to find someone on reddit with the closest setup possible that offered to upload their files. I havent gotten them yet so I'm just exploring all my options, not keeping all my eggs in the same basket and what not. I'm going to be heading to the machine this afternoon so I think I'm going to try swapping the small boards and see what happens. Hopefully nothing gets fried in the process and if I'm really lucky it will work as expected and I'll have some potential good news for others in the same boat. Fingers crossed.

Well, nothing fried, so that's something. Also, it now knows that home is top left. Still have the issue where every time I turn it on, regardless of location, it says the position 8s 10,000x 10,000y 3000z. I've found other with the issue but haven't located an actual fix. At least I'm getting closer, though.

I think I mentioned before that the 10,000, 10,000, 3000 seems to be a default in the Ruida controller, not sure what that means tho.
