I have been groovin' on this young man lately- his videos are [IMHO] good, he is not as annoying as some people on youtube, and when Fusion changes [every month there are updates] he goes back and revises his earlier vids. I am really impressed with his stuff and just downloaded about 30-40 of his videos to take to the Keys with me... wifi is poor in Islamorada and even a hotspot on our phones does not work well. I plan to come back better informed than I am now [hopefully].

Thanks. As it happens, I subbed to his channel just late last week. He's easy to understand and follow, as well as providing good explanations for his actions.

More random watching for me in my 'spare time' whatever that is
Best way to learn is in conjunction with a few of these is just do it. Pick a random widget you may or may not actually need and sketch it. The more you do the quicker you get.
Thing of random from another forum yesterday was a cable clip for wrapping IEC type cables and then clipping it to itself to keep it nice. Trivial if you know how but getting the model done as a newbie some time ago it would have been in the hours to make it nice I guess 15-20 minutes to do this one. 3D printed in this case for 6.8mm diameter nominal power cable. Part of it is also knowing in this case what works with 3D printing but doing Laser jobs are no different.
Fusion file and the STL in the Zip file if anyone wants to play.
