Hi Everyone.

I'm new to laser(s)... but i have been interested for awhile now. I'm a self employed Electrician who loves to tinker with the tech stuff.
After hitting those middle years and needing something to do with my time, i finally decided to build my own Laser Cutter using a local guys plans from here in NZ. It is currently unconstruction, so will be awhile before i can start testing it out.
I have three young boys aged 9, 11, 12 and a 8 year old girl, who all are very keen on technolgy.
The idea is a project for them to get involved with, help and learn how things go together, then design things and see them getting made.

Regards
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

welcome :) Are these the plans you are building from? viewtopic.php?f=159&t=4147 I have a Garage rebuild in front of starting mine to make some space for the build and use but will start buying bits in for the frames in the next month or so.

Hi Geoff- you are doing your kids a great service by working along side them and teaching them to create things themselves- most never have the opportunity.
