Yes; this is not really a question about RD Works, but a question about the fonts themselves. If you use a font whose characters are defined as single lines (instead of filled shapes), then that's what RDWorks will cut.

I think the default font in AutoCAD is like this.

Google "Single Line Fonts" and you should be able to find some free fonts you can download and install.

Russ uses CamBam_Stick. I use the #1 of the font package myself. My only 'problem' with it is that Corel defaults that font to no fill. If I forget to change it to hairline it disappears and the laser doesn't cut anything.

Use the SHX fonts in RDWorks - they're line fonts, though not all are single-line, they're simple strokes, not filled shapes.
