Hello from Chelsea, Alabama

Hello,
I have finally jumped into the deep end and bought 90 watt 1300mm x 900mm "Chinese Dragon". I have been attending the University of You Tube with the Headmaster Russ, and have actually managed to get my machine up and have cut a few things.

I am pretty comfortable with the software since I have been using similar software like Vectric Aspire and Fusion360 for my homebuilt CNC router. I am not the kind that likes to sit around and I am close to retirement age, so the cnc and laser will become my retirement hobby and maybe business.

Happy to be here

John

Welcome John. I recommend you do your design work in Aspire - export as an *.ai file and import to RDWORKS. Aspire is much better to design wit that RDWORKs - the only thing I use RDWORKS for is to assign a layer, cut or scan and power.
