My name is Udo and new to laser machines. As an electrical engineer I have not too much to do with mechanical construction. Here ist my first question: does someone know how the aluminium profile (see attached picture) is called, and where to buy it?

Welcome Udo. That is new and different profile in my experience. I assume this is from the bed of your laser - I would recommend contacting the manufacturer of the laser.
