Home position

OK, here's another newby question. When I ran my first test the Y axis was inverted so it printed all my text upside down. I found the Direction Polarity parameter for the Y axis and changed it from False to True. Changing the Direction Polarity fixed the inverted text, but the machine tries to go to the Home position in the forward left hand corner of the machine. With the Y axis Direction Polarity set to False the Home position is the back left hand corner (where the limit switches are set). Is there a setting that puts the home position in the back left hand corner while keeping the Y axis Direction Polarity set to True? Do I need to put in a Y axis Home offset value equal to the total Y axis travel, in my case it's 400mm, to get it to Home in the correct corner?

Thanks in advance.

To fix the text you should have used the mirror function in in the y axis.
That function will not affect or change your homing position.
Homing is a function where position sensors are located.
I presume the machine is homing to the same location as before you fixed your text issue.....assuming that is true your machine is working as it should.

I could get tht text to engrave correctly if I mirrored the text in Lightburn before I sent it to the laser. Is there a function in the Ruida controller that will do the Y axis mirror so I don’t have to do it in Lightburn?
