hi all , i had my laser cutter for about 6 years ( red /black china 500 x 700 60w machine) i got 6 months out of the tube . so started upgrades
tube reci 90w
chiller
power supply been sweet little machine and still using original mirrors and lens ha ha , i use my cutter for my hobby building rc planes
software i use is lightburn and fusion 360 i run and program a haas vf5 xt mill for work .
i would like to build my own laser cutter from scratch for next project see how we go :) .

Welcome Andrew. There are a few of your country men in this forum - one of the modertor is from "Shipwreck Coast, Victoria" not sure what proximity that may be to you but he is currently building a laser cutter now "Tim Mellor "

Hi Andrew welcome along. Fairly well into the planning and buying process for a self build Laser in the DIY section so feel free to join in.

@Pete about 2500km (1500 miles) away from here so a packed lunch and a couple of coffees ;)

pete i am on the gold coast so about 2 or so hour flight from vic .......tim i will check out your build i am keen to start one just not sure on size yet.

My renter has a Hass similar to the one you mention and a couple that are not as wide. Very capable machines and Hass has it's own Formula One team... really missing the F1 season here.
