I like it a lot, please enlighten us on the construction... plywood with maybe a black plastic backer? Thanks Gene

All plywood. The backing if spray painted black on the outside surface, and airbrush dyed on the inside (so that the inside of the box shows natural wood grain). The outer box parts are again airbrushed with dye. Assembled, then the whole thing is given a clear coat.
